The gap between Marmaris and the resorts of Icmeler is getting smaller all the time, but there is still qualitative difference between two towns, Icmeler has a more sedate cracter, the night clubs tend to close earlier, there is little in the way of budget accommaditation and the typical summer visitoris more likely to be older.

And yet it still hasn’t lost its traditional way of life.
You dont need to worry much if you are staying in Icmeler or Marmaris because both connected to each other and cant be with out one other, easy access makes both town busy however Marmaris nightlife makes Marmaris more lively at night.
There are hundreds of bars in Marmaris, you will find the staff in them all are very welcoming and friendly. Most people find a bar to their taste, and tend to go back again and again, finding that the staff become friends. You will love the prices!!
